This quilt was inspired by photographs in a John Muir retrospective of Yosemite National Park. The tree is made with ultrasuede and machine embroidery. There is beading in the valley below, to add interest and texture I finally visited Yosemite in the Fall of 2001, and it's beauty and majesty is stunning.
