Inspiration
comes in many ways - sometimes slowly and subtly, sometimes as a burst of lightning; this was both. When
I found this fabric, it fascinated me. The basic design came slowly at
first, but suddenly it all clicked, and the interplay between the complex white background
of satin and cotton fabrics and
the burst of color with white beads in the center was all there in my head. -
