 'I wanted to explore one level of abstraction from my realistic work, and also capture the feeling of liquid gold when the evening sun is reflected in water. There is some realism in the remote hills, and less and less coming ‘forward’. 

Techniques used were machine appliqué and quilting, stenciling, painting, and heat stressing, using lame, different laces, nylon tulle, batiks, artificial fur, and my hand painted  fabrics.
